Author Guidelines

Authors submitting manuscripts to the Huawen Journal must adhere to the following guidelines to ensure a smooth review and publication process.

1. Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under review in any other journal.
  • Submissions should be in Indonesian or Mandarin, following proper grammar and academic writing standards.
  • Authors must submit their manuscripts via the journal’s online submission system.

2. Manuscript Format

  • Manuscripts should be prepared in Microsoft Word (.docx) format.
  • Use Arial, 12 pt font size, 1 line spacing for the main text.
  • The document should include title, abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results, discussion, conclusion, and references.
  • Citations and references must follow the APA style.

3. Abstract and Keywords

  • An abstract (150-250 words) must be included, summarizing the research objectives, methods, findings, and conclusion.
  • Provide 3-5 keywords that reflect the core topics of the manuscript.

4. Figures, Tables, and Equations

  • All figures and tables must be numbered sequentially and have clear captions.
  • Equations should be written using a standard equation editor and numbered if referenced in the text.

5. Plagiarism Policy

  • Manuscripts must be free from plagiarism and properly cite all sources.
  • The journal will conduct a plagiarism check before proceeding with the review process.

6. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer review process, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous.
  • Authors will receive feedback and may be required to revise their manuscripts before acceptance.

7. Copyright and Licensing

  • Upon acceptance, authors retain copyright but grant the journal first publication rights under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.
  • Authors are allowed to distribute their published articles in institutional repositories or personal websites with proper attribution.

8. Ethical Considerations

  • Authors must ensure their research follows ethical guidelines, including obtaining necessary approvals for studies involving human participants.
  • Any conflicts of interest must be disclosed.
